The Forest Perimeter of Mata de Conceição de Tavira is a natural area, located just 5 km from the coast and has an area of 457 hectares.
On site there is a fenced recreation and leisure area, with about 40 hectares, equipped with an picnic area, children's playground, viewpoint, water bird observatory, small amphitheater and WCs.
In this forest you may find several species of animals, such as the red partridge, mallard, heron, wild boar, fox, wild rabbit, hare, as well as some amphibians and reptiles and even a small herd of fallow deer, in semi-captivity.
There are also excellent signposted footpaths ranging from 1 to 2.4 km that will provide you with close contact with nature.
